Asia Pacific Young Leaders Conference APLYC 2017

We are pleased to inform you that two of our Grade 11 students will participate in the Asia-Pacific Young Leaders Conference (APYLC) 2017 with the theme: Embracing Unity, Valuing Diversity. This event set the stage for young leaders from seven (7) countries, namely Australia, China, Indonesia, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore and South Korea, to communicate their own diversity experiences; promote the experiencing of a diverse array of cuisines; promote education in traditional cultural attires and practices; and finally provide a space to meet new friends and colleagues.

APYLC 2017 includes a series of talks and panels by group speakers from Asia-Pacific countries picked through an extensive selection process. It also encourages the display of diversity that is felt throughout our community in arts, traditional cultures and innovations. The aim of this event is to bring awareness to the Asia-Pacific community in regards to diversity and to highlight the multicultural nature of our world.

BINUS SCHOOLS is sending 6 student delegates (2) students each from BINUS SCHOOL Bekasi, Serpong & Simprug) to the event.  Our representatives are  Kevira Deliva and Fadila Amaliah Prasetya. The students will be accompanied by a teacher Chaperone from BINUS SCHOOL Simprug and Mr. Peter Saidi, as the representative of the Head of BINUS SCHOOLS. This year, the inaugural conference will be held in Suzhou, china from 14th – 20th September 2017
