ENGLISH LITERARY WEEK

It was a week of learning and fun all rolled into one as we celebrated our English Literary Week from 17th – 20th February 2020. This year, the event featured the theme, “Looking through the Windows of the World”. The objective of this event was to enrich our students’ literacy knowledge through innovative and engaging activities and opportunities such as those presented throughout the week
The School’s English Department organized a variety of activities that gave our students the opportunity to “travel” around the world through reading and literacy. Through these activities, students also got a chance to explore and develop their oral and written communication skills and to showcase their talents to their peers and parents.
ECY1 – HS12 students participated and competed actively in various activities which included story-telling sessions, dynamic and interactive literature-inspired Treasure Hunt & Amazing Race competitions, as well as musical and poetry performances just to name a few. Congratulations to all the winners of the individual or team events of the English Literary Week! ?
Our English Literary Week came to a spectacular close at our culmination assembly where we had our HS students put up a wonderful adaptation of Sleeping Beauty, and our champion students were presented with their Book Character Costume Awards! Congratulations, BINUSIANS!
A big shout out goes to our MSHS student story tellers and the teachers, staff and parents who made this week-long event a memorable one.
