PREVENTING VIRUS TRANSMISSION IN OUR SCHOOL COMMUNITY
In response to the presence of COVID-19 in Indonesia and in line with the official statement that was released by BINUS SCHOOL Education on 3rd March 2020, please be informed of the following changes, adjustments and/or recommendations:
SCHOOL ASSEMBLIES & EVENTS
All internal school assemblies will be suspended until further notice. All participation in external competitions will undergo stringent risk assessments and may be considered for withdrawal, where necessary. Large-scale events e.g. graduation & recognition ceremonies are still being assessed and reviewed. Updates will be notified.
SCHOOL TRIPS
All class field trips will be suspended until further notice. Refunds, where available, will be processed.
All scheduled external learning journeys e.g. student summits and cultural explorations will be considered for cancellations or postponements, pending consensus. Refunds, where available, will be processed.
No external learning journeys will be considered until further notice.
TEMPERATURE CHECKS
All students, staff, parents & visitors entering the School building will undergo temperature screenings at our school gates. Anyone with a temperature higher than 37.5oC will not be allowed in.
We take this opportunity to remind all parents to NOT send children who are unwell, to School.
Please be assured that any missed schoolwork and/or assessments will be eligible for make-up when students submit a proper medical certificate, upon return to School. Your vigilance and cooperation in this matter is deeply appreciated.
HEALTH & HYGIENE
Anyone with a mild cough/cold is reminded to wear a protective mask, if entering the School building. Masks should be brought and worn from home.
While the School provides hand sanitizers at various areas around the campus, all BINUSIANS are encouraged to bring their own personal hand sanitizers for frequent daily use.
I take this opportunity to remind all BINUSIANS to continue with your good hygiene and handwashing habits as part of our daily routine and to continue to keep our School grounds and facilities e.g. playground, courts & toilets, clean at all times.
THE CLEANLINESS OF OUR SCHOOL CAMPUS IS OUR SHARED RESPONSIBILITY.
CASHLESS TRANSACTIONS
To help reduce the risk of viral or bacterial transmission between persons, all BINUSIANS are strongly encouraged to use cashless methods of payment at our School cafeteria, Parents Lounge, Business Centre etc. from here on.
