Giving Back to the Community – Book Donation Drive to SDN Padurenan V, Bekasi

In celebration of World Book and Copyright Day with the theme “Train Your Brain, You are a Reader!”, BINUS SCHOOL Bekasi Readers Club and General Operations Department present Book Donation Drive. The event brought all members of the school community and the general public to promote the love and habit of reading.

The Book Donation Drive is a student-led campaign that aims to benefit SDN Padurenan V. This is the start of our school’s Adopt-A-School Programme to instill the culture of giving back to the community. The Symbolic Book Giving was held on 27 May 2022 at our school. A programme was prepared for the selected students and teachers of SDN Padurenan V, Bekasi. Our community donated 648 books (Bahasa Indonesia/ English Language) and educational toys to our beneficiary school.
