Field Trip 2022

MSHS students got the opportunity to visit PT Dinar Darum Lestari, a company that focuses on cultivating marine organisms such as fresh water and sea water ornamental fishes, seahorses, and corals to promote sustainable aquaculture. Students were able to explore different marine life species with characteristics and distinct treatment that must be done before transporting to different cities or even countries. Students also were able to interact directly with the marine organisms, which gives them experience that is different from visiting aquariums. Through these activities, we hope students are inspired and start to take small actions to be part of the global community to grow and nurture artisanal fisheries and aquaculture.

At BINUS SCHOOL Bekasi, we strive to provide our students with a variety of learning opportunities. Our ECY students had a field trip at PT. Diamond Cold Storage at Cibitung to get to know more about dairy products. Our School believes that such opportunities provide our students with a more holistic and multi-sensory learning experience.

For our Lower Elementary students, we visited Sentul Fresh Edufarm at Bogor and learned about farming. We learned how to take care of animals! These opportunities reinforce our students’ understanding of concepts/topics learned in School.
