Acrylic Painting for The Ministry of BUMN Presented by Abigail, High School 10 Student

Abigail Manuella Aminta Situmorang from High School 10, had a chance to meet Bapak Erick Thohir, the minister of BUMN and Bapak Garibaldi Thohir to present them an acrylic painting she made herself on the inauguration of At-Thohir Mosque.

She also made one for the President of Indonesia and His Mother, Bpk. Joko Widodo and Ibu Sudjiatmi Notomihardjo.

We are proud that Abigail decided to show appreciation for the inauguration of the At-Thohir mosque, even though she herself is Christian. This is testament to our students’ belief in diversity and tolerance for everyone.

Abigail started her own acrylic business last year, to develop her creativity and because she wanted to make use of this pandemic to try out new things such as starting a business. This is an example of the fruits of the teaching and learning process in BINUS SCHOOL Bekasi. We challenge, help enhance their skills and support students to get out of their comfort zones and find out where their interests are. For Abigail, it’s on Entrepreneurship and Creativity.
