MSHS SABBATICAL ACTIVITIES

At BINUS SCHOOL Bekasi, we firmly believe that providing our students with a well-balanced education will help pave their way to success. We believe that apart from regular timetabled classroom sessions, students need to be exposed to out-of-school learning engagements as these provide excellent opportunities for them to explore the world and their possible interests and talents.

Out-of-school learning engagements allow students to apply relevant life-skills and lessons learned in their classes to real life situations. Lastly, these opportunities also serve to help students socialize with one another and with extended members of their community.
In line with the above objectives, we are proud to offer our inaugural MSHS Sabbaticals on Thursday, 12th December 2019. A total of 73% of our MSHS students subscribed to an activity of their choice. Our MSHS Sabbatical Programme was led by our Affective Education Coordinator, Mr Erwin R. Montojo and was supported by all our MSHS Teachers.

Our students went to eleven (11) different areas of interest namely in Bogor, Jakarta and Tangerang. The range of activities included sports such as swimming, outdoor hikes and outbound games; recreation e.g. theme park visits, museum tours, and city excursions.
The students were grouped based on their respective sabbatical activities. This multi-level compositions allowed students to break out of their usual social groups and expanded their connections with peers in the School.

Well done, Students!
