WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL, BINUSIANS!

School Year 2020/2021 is set to be a special school year for a few obvious reasons. First, due to the current pandemic, BINUS SCHOOL Bekasi will continue with our Home Learning Programme (HLP) starting in Term 1 of the new school year i.e. from 13th July – 2nd October 2020.

Although we are aware that many of our students, teachers and parents miss our school campus, school environment and vibrant school life very much, the decision to continue with HLP is the best for everyone as we do not wish to compromise the health, safety and well-being of our BINUSIAN community.

As a responsible community, we sincerely hope that we shall be able to do our part by staying at home and keeping safe, to help flatten the curve of COVID-19. Instead of the usual morning greetings, warm smiles, and excited waves that we normally see at our school gates on the first days of School, this time round, we welcomed our cohort of students virtually during their online class orientations.

It was very heartening to see our students online, all decked in their school uniforms, ready to start learning in the new normal way!

NEW SCHOOL VISION

SY2020/2021 is poised to be a special school year for us BINUSIANS, as this year marks the launch of our common and unified School Vision. Together with our sister schools, BINUS SCHOOL Bekasi sets her sights to fostering and empowering Society through building and serving the nation. This new School Vision replaces our former School Vision and will now be the beacon for BINUS SCHOOLS moving forward. The School Vision is further driven by three (3) main thrusts i.e.

▪ Advocating innovative learning
▪ Championing compassionate leadership

With the inception of the new School Vision, all BINUS SCHOOLS will now adhere to the following School Mission in her tireless effort to achieve our vision:

ANOTHER YEAR STRONGER

Another reason why we should be that confident SY2020/2021 will be a special school year for BINUS SCHOOL Bekasi is the fact that this July marks our fifth anniversary as a school community!

From our humble beginnings back in SY2016/2017 with only 126 students, we are immensely proud to share with all the members of our community that we are now a Home for Learning to 733 students and their families in SY2020/2021! We are just as excited to welcome our newly minted BINUSIAN families and warmly welcome on-board Class of 2023 (HS10), Class of 2026 (MS7), Class of 2032 (EL1) and Class of 2035 (ECY1) who joined our Home for Learning at the start of their divisions! WELCOME HOME, BINUSIANS!

We are confident that together with the support and commitment of our parents, students, teachers, and staff, BINUS SCHOOL Bekasi will be able to live out her School Mission and do her part in building a Greater Nusantara.

This growth would not have been possible without the support of our parents and students and we are truly fortunate and thankful to have you as a member of our family in BINUS SCHOOL Bekasi!

Along with our growth in student population, we are also planning and preparing for the necessary improvements to our Home for Learning to support our students in their academic and affective endeavours. We look forward to sharing these improvements and updates with you in the coming months.

As a school community, we also look forward to forging a positive and long-lasting partnership with all our BINUSIAN families, for the holistic achievement and betterment of all our students, and the community at large. We are determined to work hand in hand with you, in pursuit of our School Vision and Mission. Let’s make this year a GREAT year for all!
